Putting for a Purpose is presented by Economic Alliance Snohomish County Ambassadors and is a miniature version of the usual golf fundraiser. Participants will put their way across eight miniature greens with various obstacles and traps, with the top finishers receiving trophies and prizes. There will also be an exhibit of local non-profit organizations, providing the opportunity for those interested in local charity to exchange conversation and Business Cards. Exhibitors can also pledge funds to have their logos and names placed throughout the event.
Discounted tickets are available for Economic Alliance members. In addition to the putting, there will be food, entertainment, and a no-host bar, to ensure that good conversation and good times are had. Putting greens are provided by the PNW Putt mobile mini-golf course. Funds raised through the event go towards Orion Industries. The nonprofit organization aims to provide people throughout Washington with the opportunity and skills to work through training and employment programs as well as job placement. The group describes their mission as:
“Orion has a simple belief: that good jobs change lives. This is why we devote ourselves to our program participants, and why we push for excellence in everything we do.”
Putting for a Purpose will take place at the Everett Mall on the afternoon of September 26.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
