This month, a vacant lot across the street from Fire Station 5 is being used for food trucks located in Everett, with the program continuing in November.
The Washington Food Truck Association has formed a partnership with the Everett Economic Development Department. As well as a rotating schedule of food trucks in the empty lot every day from Monday to Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. There is a mobile app available to order food 72 hours ahead. The large gravel lot is the first attempt in Everett to have a food truck park.
Customers will find room to park when ordering food. The program is starting with just a few trucks to test the concept, and the city and food truck association will receive 4% of their sales tax.
On November 5, MexiCuban will be at the lot serving sweet potato fries, fried plantains, tacos, sandwiches, and pork tostones. For November 6, the food lot has Yummy Box, an Asian fusion truck, and Yummy Catch serving Southern fried seafood and Asian dishes.
On November, 10 Yummy Box will be back and joined by Crave, which serves tacos, burritos, and sliders.
The food trucks will be available on various dates during November. They will participate in the Mobile Meal Alliance that provide vouchers for needy families. Printers have graphic design staff that design Menus and Flyers for businesses like this.
The food truck lot is located at 6731 Beverly Boulevard.
