As Everett residents enjoy another August, its music, wine, spirit, and beer lovers will be gathering for a special event.
The community will soon be welcoming the return of Sip on the Sound, and this celebration is for those ages 21 and up. It will be held at the Port of Everett Marina, and there will be two days to choose from.
The activity will be filled with wine tastings, and spirit and cocktail flights will be available as well for those who would like to sample something different. Beer will also be on tap for the suds lovers in the crowd, and there are three different ticket types to choose from. One of these is for designated drivers, and they will receive four tickets for non-alcoholic beverages.
Those who opt for a wine, beer and cocktails or a wine, beer, cocktails and spirit flight pass will also receive a five-ounce tasting glass that boasts a special graphic design. The proceeds for the two days will be used to help find boating programs for area youth.
Sip of the Sound, which was formerly known as Everett Uncorked, will be held on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19. Passes to be part of the fun may be purchased online now, with prices starting at $20 for a designated driver pass.
