The Everett Farmers Market is relocating to a larger location in downtown Everett. It will have the same vendors and hours.
With several years of construction on the waterfront to come, this is a good move to make. It will ensure customers continue to have a good experience as the market continues to grow, said Port CEO Les Reardanz.
The farmers market draws over 5,000 customers per week and has over 100 vendors every week. To accommodate construction on the waterfront, it has moved to a temporary location located near Boxcar Park.
The city began working in 2019 to find a new location for the Everett Farmers Market. It will provide activity to downtown in its off peak seasons. Vendors are excited about the expanded space and more parking.
It is a community effort and it takes customers, vendors, non-profits, city officials, sponsors, staff, all working together to make this move work.
Mayor Cassie Franklin says they are happy to have the Farmer Market in downtown. The move will serve the community better at this time. There will be more parking for customers and available transit.
The Everett Farmers Market began in 1993. It will be located on Wetmore Avenue between Hewitt and Wall Street. Everett has Print shops that design and provide flyer printing for events like this.
Everett Farmers Market will be in downtown Everett on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. until mid-October.
