Food Truck Friday is underway in Everett. Focused on attracting businesspeople and shoppers, it will continue until mid-November.
The locations of the trucks features plenty of outdoor seating, all located near near the Everett Performing Arts Center.
Usually, there are three different food trucks to provide lunch or a snack for adults and children. When started in 2016, it was the first time food trucks had been allowed on the street for the day.
The Washington Truck Association provides different food trucks for the program, and represents over 100 different food truck businesses.
The program is designed to revitalize the downtown area and increase business. Food trucks from Everett are Mobile Mavens, Big Dogs, Mooney Icy Tunes, Express Mexican Grill, Whipped Raw, Stick It or Stuff It, Adams Country Hotdogs, Yummy Box, Jimmy Peppers, Road Dawg, Auntie’s Annie’s Pretzels, The Scotsman Espresso, The Red Truck, and Delfino’s Chicago Style Pizza.
Vendors that attend food truck Fridays vary, so customers get to try a wide variety of food depending on what week they attend. Among what they serve are hotdogs, Asian food, pizza, sandwiches, ice cream, Mexican, vegan desserts, burgers, and pizza.
