Everett is known as being a community that cares for its residents, and to help ensure everyone has a happy holiday season this year, it is running a donation drive to support those in need.
The city has partnered with Everett Mall to set up a community donation station, and it will accept contributions from local residents who want to give back. It will be open from mid-November to mid-December, and all contributions will be gratefully accepted.
To get involved, the public has been asked to purchase a new toy, game or piece of sporting equipment to donate to the cause. They can drop them off, unwrapped, and the volunteers will collect them and make sure they are given to a local child in need.
It was explained that gifts for teenagers are also in demand, and some ideas for these could be small electronics, personal care products like hair dryers, or other items that are age appropriate.
Communities across the United States will be running holiday donation drives in the weeks ahead. A printing services company can prepare everything from attention raising Posters to mailers that can be sent out to local households, informing them of how, where, and when they can get involved.
