The Schack Art Center in Everett will have a variety of arts and craft classes in August for children and adults.
The last summer art class session will be August 3-7 for children ages 8-12, running from 10:00 am – noon. It will run five days and teach about pop art, watercolors and pastels, how to make a still life collage, and explore abstract art.
The Decorative Fused Glass Lantern class will be held on August 9 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm. Designed for adults 18 years and over, students will make a wrought iron decorative lamp using fused glass panels, and all supplies are provided.
A Spiral Watercolor class will be held two days on August 11 and 13 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Students age 15 and up will create a spiral piece using watercolors, markers, and permanent markers.
Ceramic Castles, for children 8 and older, will be held on August 15 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. They will learn to create Forms and shapes using clay and modeling techniques.
Art in the Garden will have a Fused Bird Bath class for adults 18 years and over. Students will create fused bird bath for their yard.
Also, Zoom Online art classes will be held in August for children and adults, teaching them cartooning, colored pencil drawing, creature and character design, drawing and painting animals, and watercolors. Printers design and provide brochure printing for in person and online classes like this.
The Center practices social distancing and participant numbers are limited.
