The Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce supplies a variety of services and supports to businesses in the local area, and this Everett area organization recently issued a reminder to the general public about a special annual event.
The group reminded one and all that the first Saturday of October tends to be a brisk one for yard sales. In fact, it has designated the day as being the “Annual Mill Creek Garage Sale,” and everyone is encouraged to turn their junk into someone else’s treasure.
According to the Chamber's website, the activity will take place at residences throughout the area, and once everyone has finished their browsing and buying, they are encouraged to linger and patronize the eateries and small businesses that call Mill Creek home. As each of the pop-up sales will be hosted and run by different individuals, the public can count on some thrifty finds.
Many communities that host yard and garage sales offer the public premade signage they can post to promote their function, with space in the graphic design to include the date and location. These can be prepared by area banner printing companies.
Mill Creek will be getting the fall season off to a fun start with this social event planned for October 1. Everyone is encouraged to participate as a seller or buyer.
