The Everett Animal shelter provides a safe haven for companion animals in need, and the community has been asked to support its work by taking part in active local fundraisers.
Whether cats, dogs or another pet is their favorite, everyone in the community can lace up their sneakers and join the fun of the 5km and one-mile run and walk that will be held in early April. Rotary Park will be the venue for the occasion, which has been organized by Run 2 be Fit.
Each person who registers for the morning will receive a finisher’s medal with a special graphic design, and the race photos and results will be posted so they can be viewed free of charge. Kids under 16 can register for free, and adults who sign up before this Sunday, March 12 will be asked to pay $41.95. After this, the price will go up.
To help accommodate as many members of the public as possible, a virtual attendance option is available. A poster printing company can meet the needs of event organizers by helping to market their function to the public.
The Fur-Ever 5km and one-mile race and walk will be hitting the road on Saturday, April 1. Registration for the fundraiser can be completed by visiting its online listing on Eventbrite.
