Tanks Giving, a holiday event, is coming to the Flying Heritage Museum in Everett in the upcoming weeks. It features many special seasonal treats for adults and children.
It will have a hot cocoa site, decorating gingerbread cookies activity, crafts, video games, and face painting. There will be a tank demonstration, a theater production with Santa, and photos taken with the jolly gent in the village.
The museum has partnered with Teen Feed, and visitors are asked to bring one item to be entered in the Tanks Giving contest. Prizes are $20 gift cards to Walmart, Target, and Goodwill.
Items needed include sleeping Bags, tents, Backpacks, sweatshirts, work pants, hats, gloves, wool socks, ramen noodles, and granola bars.
The first 200 visitors will get a free Tanks Giving button when they arrive, and a free photo with Santa comes with the price of admission.
With free parking and a number of food trucks on site, visitors can buy a snack or lunch when attending. Children ages five and under get free admission, as do those who make a charitable donation
Everett has several Print companies that can help local museums, nonprofit organizations, and clubs with flyer printing design for special events.
