An Everett arts hub is presenting auctions and classes virtually over the coming weeks.
The Schack Art Center in Everett will have its annual art auction online this year. Called H-Arts Benefit Auction, it will be held February 1 to27 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Participants can bid on art objects and collectibles from any location.
The money raised supports Schack’s art galleries, classes, and educational programs. Donations of art in different categories, sculpture, and collectibles are needed from organizations and individuals, and will be sold at auction.
Weekend Beginning Silversmithing will be held on February 6 and 7 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Students will learn soldering, forging, and setting stones. All tools are provided, and online registration is required. The class, which is open to people over 18, meets in the Metalsmithing Studio.
Lampwork Glass Beadmaking meets on February 13 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for those 18 years and older. Guests will learn to make glass beads and heat soft glass. With all tools provided, it meets in the Flame and Kiln Studio.
Fused Pocket Flower Vase will be held on February 14 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm for those 18 years and over. Students will make four fiber vases to hang and display flowers. Supplies are included, and the class meets in Flame and Kiln Studio.
Finally, the Art in the Garden: Fused Bird Bath class will meet on February 21 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm for students 18 years and older. Students will make a 15-inch fused birdbath that will be on a wrought iron stand. A limit of four students in Flame and Kiln Studio applies.
Registration is required for all classes. Printers design Brochures and provide brochure printing for programs like this.
