The Arlington Fly-In is taking place for three days this July, and it is an event that attracts 50,000 or more visitors each year.
There are expected to be approximately 1,000 aircraft on display including classics, vintage models and ‘warbirds’. Visitors will have the opportunity to fly in a WWII B25-D, or a biplane. The air show will feature aerobatic performances.
There will be hands-on workshops on home building and aircraft coatings, forums about topics such as flying at night, and fuel system basics (several of the forums award WINGS credits), as well as aircraft judging.
Kids’ Day takes place on the first day of the event, and will include face painting, helicopters, and kite building. Other activities include a car show, a military vehicle parade, and a marketplace for used airplane accessories.
Musical entertainment will be provided by Cherry Cherry, a Neil Diamond tribute band. Food will be available for purchase and visitors can relax in the beer garden.
This event will likely attract airplane fans from all over the area, including nearby Everett. To make sure as many people know about it as possible, organizers likely invested in flyer or poster printing services.
