The annual Dirty Dan Harris Festival is taking place this April in the Fairhaven area of Bellingham, hosted by the Historic Fairhaven Association.
The event is set to feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, and a sidewalk saloon. Chefs will pit their wits in a chili cook-off and, for $10, visitors can sample the creations of the competitors and put their favorite forward for the People's Choice award.
Other activities include salmon tossing, donut eating, an uphill piano race, and contests for the best 1800s dress contest and Dirty Dan lookalike. In addition, visitors can win prizes and awards by entering the Dan Harris Challenge rowing race for $25 per person, $35 for doubles, and $50 for quads.
Another activity will be the Fairhaven Pooch Scoot in which runners and their dogs are welcome to participate. Entry fees are $30 per person and dog (which includes a bandana for the four-legged entrant) and $5 extra for each additional dog. A T-shirt is also available for $15.
This annual event will likely attract plenty of Bellingham residents. Local Print companies may help to spread the word by providing marketing materials like Flyers and Posters.
The Dirty Dan Harris Festival will be held at the Fairhaven Village Green on April 26 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Admission is free of charge. Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters Get a Free Quote for Print
