Tickets in short supply for upcoming concert

A popular band is coming to Bellingham, and people will need to buy their tickets soon.

Spafford will be appearing at The Shakedown, a live-event venue in Bellingham. The “jam band” was formed in Arizona in 2009, with Brian Moss (a vocalist and guitarist) and Jordan Fairless (vocalist and bass player), as the founding members. As with most bands, the members have changed since the group began its career.

A “jam band” like Spafford is a group that incorporates “jam sessions” into their performances. These extended interludes are usually improvisational in nature. This type of spontaneity is found in Spafford, which uses improvisation to change between the songs in their setlists. Their sound is due to the fact that there are different singers and songwriters in the group, each bringing his own vision to the work.

A review of a Spafford concert says

“. . . wow – they were really tight! They took the stage and played continuously for almost 40 minutes . . . After two more songs, they took a short break, returned for another hour-long set plus an encore.”

The concert is set for March 24 at 8:00 pm at the Shakedown on North State Street. The event is limited to those 21 years of age and above, and they will be asked to produce identification. Poster printing can provide outstanding advertising for concerts like this.
