The 4th annual Affair to Remember celebration is taking place this February in Bellingham, and is a fundraising event for the Alzheimer Society of Washington.
The theme of this year's celebration is ‘Broadway Nights’, and guests are encouraged to dress in a fitting manner. The night will start off with cocktails and appetizers, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of beef, fish, or vegan meals. Following this will be a dessert dash and live and silent auctions. The highlight of the evening will be a performance by Sheryl Lee Ralph, who appeared in ‘Dreamgirls’ on Broadway.
The Alzheimer Society of Washington provides support groups for those caring for Alzheimer patients, hosts educational conferences, and provides memory screenings. It also hosts a weekly Alzheimer's Cafe to give patients a chance to socialize.
Poster printing companies in Bellingham often help to advertise events like this by providing Posters and other materials to be distributed in the area. These are often displayed in public buildings or bus shelters.
An Affair to Remember is being held at the Bellwether Ballroom in Bellingham on February 21, beginning at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $100 in advance or $125 at the door.
