A charity tournament is scheduled in Bellingham, and the day promises to be great fun.
SaviBank is presenting the 2021 Aslan Classic, hosted by Aslan Brewing Company, which will be played at the Sudden Valley Golf Course. This is the only the second such tournament, but organizers are adding more to the outing. The tournament already combines two popular items – craft beer and golf – but this year there will be more shenanigans, more beer, and a lunch.
The tournament is a four-player scramble that kicks off at 1:00 pm with a shotgun start. Tickets are priced per team, at $500, which includes practice balls, the use of a golf cart, three golf balls for everyone, koozies, and Aslan Classic hats. Tickets will be sold per team only.
Along with wheels and seats, each golf cart also contains a six-pack of Aslan Classic. Surprise kegs will be found at various points on the golf course, allowing players to enjoy their favorite brew throughout the day. Mini games such as Longest Drive and Closest to the Pin will also be part of the fun, and winners will receive prizes.
The team that finishes in first will win a free second round of golf at Sudden Valley, Aslan swag, a private tour of the brewery, and Aslan gift cards worth $200.
