More than $900,000 of municipal LED projects have recently been completed by Revolution Lighting Technologies, including one for Bellingham and Northwest Edison.
The company, which provides advanced solutions in LED lighting technologies, created customized LED lights that were able to back fit within existing streetlight fixtures.
This project involved the installation of decorative lamppost fixtures by Revolution Lighting, and was spread throughout the city. There were some specific requirements of this project that included “smart” controls within the fixtures so as to create a network of comprehensive energy management among the streetlights in the city. The lamppost fixtures in the historic district of Bellingham allow the engineering team of Revolution Lighting to specially design and construct LED controls and modules that would fit within existing streetlights.
Group President of Revolution Lighting Technologies, Vincent Alonzi, commented that the company’s engineering team worked closely with the project manager of the city so that a customized LED solution could be created, thus perserving the streetlight fixtures in the historic district.
President of Northwest Edison, Dan Camilleri, commented that this was a challenging and unique project but showed how collaborative efforts could deliver a solution that melds historically significant elements with cutting-edge technology.
Revolution Lighting may now want to hire a flyer printing company so it can revise its Flyers with more information about its products, and how it is now penetrating the municipal and government sectors with its customized solutions.
