Todd Barry, who was born in the Bronx and raised in Florida, did a stint in an indie rock band before turning to stand-up comedy. A voice over artist as well as an actor, he has been seen or heard in a number of films; television shows including “Spin City,” “Sex and the City,” and “The Larry Sanders Show”; and animated projects. He has also appeared at the renowned Edinburgh Film Festival.
Barry is known for his deadpan, low-key delivery, and has the honor of being named “It Standup” in 2003, on the “It List” compiled by Entertainment Weekly. In addition to working as an actor, he has appeared as himself on Conan and Letterman, and took part in Comedy Central's Friar's Roast of Chevy Chase. Subjects for his comedy include his germophobia, and his dislike of venues that do not have bathrooms backstage.
A review says:
“So funny. Openers were great and Todd killed it as well.”
