A day to celebrate everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer is coming up in Bellingham.
The Northwest Tune-Up is a three-day party with music, beer, and bikes that gives attendees the chance to enjoy the things residents love about this area of the country. Among the planned activities are mountain bike races, live music, and a chance to sample local beers.
Everyone can enjoy the mountain biking part of the Tune-Up, which will be held on Chuckanut and Galbraith Mountain. Planned activities include enduros of various stages, group trail rides, demonstrations from the top bicycle manufacturers, and skills clinics. The waterfront will be the place to watch kids’ events, demos, and races.
Live entertainment reflects the wide variety of art and music in the area. After all, Washington State is home to everything from the Seattle Opera to Nirvana. More than 20 artists are scheduled to appear on the stages at the waterfront. Organizers of events like this may choose to use flyer printing to create handouts with maps and instructions for attendees.
The Northwest is a region known for growing hops and developing craft brews. There are several breweries located in Bellingham proper, and they and others from the area will be on hand to provide tastings of their products.
The Northwest Tune-Up is a three-day event, taking place from July 14-16 at various locations throughout the city. Shuttles will be available to take people from the main festival area near the waterfront to the various trailheads.
