Woodbridge to become home to new fine wine store

The first store of Total Wine & More will be opening in Woodbridge in a space that was once occupied by the retailer Tuesday Morning.

To be located in the Smoketown Station shopping center on Prince Willaim Parkway, the store will be the first store of the chain in eastern Prince Willaim County. There are other locations of the store in Manassas and Gainesville in the county.

The space the store will occupy covers over 12.500 square feet. It will join other retailers in the shopping center that include Best Buy, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Hobby Lobby, and 2nd and Charles. Banner printing is often used at such sites to announce the coming of new stores like this.

Total Wine & More was started by brothers Robert and David Trone in 1991 with a small store in Delaware. The store is committed to offering the best selection of wine in the country, and emphasizes fine wines.

Their typical stores offer more than 8,000 different wines from every region around the world that produces wine, and more than 2,500 beers from imports and microbrews to the most popular brands in the country.

The Woodbridge store will sell only beer and wine, as other alcoholic beverages are sold at ABC Stores in Virginia.

No opening date has yet been set for the store.
