Dance AS Dance Academy in Dumfries is set to offer several different types of dance classes. Residents of nearby Woodbridge who are interested in dance classes or learning to dance may want to sign up for these classes.
Beats & Boogie With Leticia is a line dance class that needs no partner. Leticia will be teaching how to move and groove to two pieces of Jon Batiste, “Freedom” and “Body Rock.” Leticia promises that the moves will be easy to follow and learn, attendees will enjoy the upbeat music, and there will be a fun vibe throughout the session. This class will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday February 21.
MiniMester at Dance will be offered next month. This is an ideal opportunity to introduce young children to dance. This is a program lasting six weeks that is designed for new dancers to build confidence, explore movement, and make new friends in a welcoming studio environment.
The teachers are encouraging and supportive and enable young dancers to try dancing. There will be multiple styles and age groups customized to those who sign up. At the end of the classes, there will be a showcase in the studio for families to enjoy the first performance of their children.
