GameOn bar + arcade, an arcade for adults, is coming to Woodbridge.
The owners of the arcade are Casey Linthicum and her husband, Eli, who are from Columbia, Maryland. Linthicum said this is the first location of the arcade in the state but is the fifth overall with one in Washington, D.C. and three others in Maryland.
Linthicum said this arcade caters to adults but is also kid friendly. Patrons can have drinks and enjoy themselves and play games.
Among the games at GameOn bar + arcade will be basketball, Skee-Ball, and a variety of pinball games as well as games such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Galaga, and Frogger. The location will also offer a full menu and bar. Items in the menu will feature burgers, pizza, wings, and other favorite classic pub food choices. The bar offerings will include alcoholic punches and slushies as well as a selection of cocktails and beer, with non-alcoholic options also available.
Such new and distinctive establishments can partner with local Print shops to create Flyers, Brochures, and other promotional materials that help introduce their offerings to the community.
Linthicum is planning to make this establishment a place for the community to gather with leagues for some games and tabletop role-playing games. They plan to host rewards for children who get good grades in school as well as fundraisers, as do their other locations.
