Winter light show to continue near Woodbridge

The second annual Ice and Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Rush is set to continue into next month near Woodbridge.

NOVA Parks is the host of this seasonal event, along with two other winter light shows including the Bull Festival of Lights and Meadowlark’s Winter Lights.

Woodbridge residents who arrive at the Ice and Lights show in their personal vehicles can park in the lot free of charge. Visitors can walk along pathways as they view and photograph featured light displays and decorations such as the giant wreath, the walk-thru tree, and design stars. Food will be available at concession areas each evening. Poster printing is preferred by many hosts of similar public events to advertise the event in multiple local venues.

Admission costs $9.35 per individual. Depending on each visitor's preferences, 15-minute timeslots are available for periods from 5:00 pm to 8:45 pm. Second ticket options include general admission and one hour of ice skating.

All attendees must practice social distancing and avoid gathering in large groups. Every person five years of age and older must wear a facemask.

Ice and Lights: The Winter Village at Cameron Run is scheduled to recur throughout next month in Alexandria on Friday, January 1; Saturday, January 2; and on Sunday, January 3 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm each day.
