A chain that specializes in Western style clothing and accessories, Boot Barn, is now open in Woodbridge near the Potomac Mills Mall. The store is in what was once the Rainbow Apparel Shop on Potomac Mills Circle.
A spokesperson for the new store said that the goal of the Boot Barn store in Woodbridge is not only to offer a place to shop for Western clothing but to be a personalized experience. The store employs a team of experts who are ready to help customers make informed decisions as they shop.
There are currently 10 people working at the store in Woodbridge, but it is still hiring more people. Banner printing placed at strategic locations throughout a town can help to attract qualified candidates to apply for such positions.
The store in Woodbridge also sells boots with in-person fitting, as well as hat cleaning and shaping.
Boot Barn is passionate about the Western style of life and being involved in the community. The store partners with many local non-profit organizations and outreach programs, including ones that support veterans, the families of fallen heroes, and those currently in the military. The chain also highlights the stories of real people in the agriculture and Western communities. In January 2021, Boot Barn launched a new initiative, the Back On Air Movement, to support aspiring country music artists so their music can be heard.
