Preschool now open in Woodbridge

Chesterbrook Academy Preschool on Troupe Street in Woodbridge is now open and is accepting the enrollment of new students.

Students between six weeks old and in the pre-kindergarten grades are able to attend the school. It offers care before and after school, as well as camps during the winter break and over the summer. Enrollment is available on a part-time basis and has hours that can accommodate the different schedules of families. It also offers transportation from Penn, Lake Ridge, Greenwood, and West Ridge for before and after school programs.

Principal at Chesterbrook Academy, Karen Stona, said that families who are interested in the school should contact the school to schedule a tour and learn more about its programs. Stona added that the team is passionate about its work and dedicated to ensuring each child can grow and learn in a nurturing environment.

Chesterbrook has a signature Links to Learning program for pre-schoolers that offers activities designed to be engaging, challenging, and fun. The curriculum has five developmental stages with eight subject areas that include mathematics, wellness, language and literacy, and creative expression. Each stage introduces new skills and concepts, and reinforces and reviews existing knowledge and skills. More details about such special programs can be provided with brochure printing.

The Academy is planning an open house beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 22.
