Belmont Bay LCC is looking to build on five parcels of undeveloped land in Prince William County.
The parcels are adjacent to the Virginia Railway Express (VRE) Woodbridge station, next to the river between the Marina and the Potomac Science Center of George Mason University, along Dawson Beach Road, east of the Marina, and next to the Occoquan Bay National Wildlife Refuge. The project would consist of 641 rental units between the Marina and the VRE station and 749 owner-occupied homes at the other parcels. There would be a mix of type and size of all residential units. Brochure printing is often used to provide more details about such projects and their features and amenities for residents.
Development director for the project, Jay Sotos, said that his company will contribute 90 acres of what was once a golf course along the river to the county for a park with access to the waterfront. There will be a dog park with access to a small pond, viewing platforms, and osprey nests in the park. The land will be given to the county in phases as the construction progresses.
The project is estimated to cost $550 million and would also include a performance area, a plaza, a restaurant, retail space, and more homes. Sotos said that it will take about 10 years to complete the project.
