For those looking to take up a new and valuable hobby, the Introduction to Beekeeping Class will be hosted as a virtual event near Woodbridge next month.
The Bee Store LLC created the beginner class for potential beekeepers. The organization was founded for the purpose of providing beekeepers with a convenient place to buy all necessary apiarian supplies in one shopping trip. The Bee Store also hosts regular online beekeeping events and classes designed for beginner to advanced beekeepers on a wide variety of topics.
The Introduction to Beekeeping Class is suited for individuals from Woodbridge and other areas in Virginia who are newly interested in the topic or who have started beekeeping as a side hobby. The purpose of the workshop is to provide students with sufficient information to help them decide if they wish to become beekeepers.
This two-hour online event will teach participants about what beekeeping is and explain the money, responsibilities, equipment, necessary resources, time, and needed space people need to care for a beehive successfully. Participants who are involved with similar online events often visit Print shops to produce physical versions of any digital resources relevant to the class.
This free, online webinar is scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 6 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Any individual with an interest in keeping bees can register online.
