The Jazz Legacy Foundation will be holding a weekend celebration in November onboard the Spirit of Norfolk ship.
Smooth Jazz Lunch Cruise & Day Party is part of the Jazz Legacy Foundation's 8th Annual Gala Weekend. The organization will be taking over the Spirit of Norfolk to provide guests with live entertainment on each deck. Brian Pinner & the Forte' Jazz Trio will perform on level one, while DJ HeartAttack will play music on the upper deck. A buffet will also be available for all attendees, and a few special guests will appear during the cruise.
The Jazz Legacy Foundation is a group founded in 2013 that is dedicated to supporting jazz and music education. The organization also helps create quality jazz experiences in the community. The foundation has hosted music workshops for children and has also provided instruments and scholarships. A few past events organized by the group include late-night jam sessions and golf tournaments. Charitable organizations similar to this may use flyer printing to show their activities to families.
The lunch cruise will be held on Saturday, November 13th from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and will cost guests $67 to attend. The organizers will also provide round-trip bus service from Embassy Suites Hampton to the cruise for $15. The buses will depart at 9:50 am. No refunds will be available for the experience.
