Music festival to return to Norfolk
A popular music festival will be coming back to Norfolk this August at the Scope Arena in Norfolk.
The Cousinz Festival is a concert where people can see live performances from multiple DJs and headlining acts. Chico Bean and Dominique Da Diva will host the event. The headliners for this year's fest will include T-Pain, Lil' Kim, and Jeezy. Attendees will get to dance to music sets led by DJ Clue, DJ Envy, and DJ Diamond Kuts. Guests can also take part in the Stormy Blue Food Truck Experience, a contest where people vote to determine which food truck is the winner.
Chico Bean, also known as Karlous Bernard Miller, is a comedian and rapper who has starred in several shows, including Bill Bellamy's Who's Got Jokes, Last Comic Standing, and Off the Chain. He has also been an actor in films like 2 Minutes of Fame and Glorious Mail. Dominique Da Diva is a radio host for 93.9 WKYS who went to Virginia State University for mass communications. She created her own app called Da Daily Dirt and has hosted events like Diva Unfiltered.
The music festival will be held on Saturday, August 30th and will begin at 4:00 pm. General admission to the concert starts at $123.60 and varies depending on seat location.
