For an unusual way to celebrate the holidays, Norfolk locals may want to attend a Disney/Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt presentation of Disney Live!
This will be a live performance of three classic fairy tales. It will be an upbeat retelling of three of Disney Studios classic animated movies on the stage with a variety of Disney characters.
The family friendly show will feature the three stories – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and the Beast, and Cinderella – as presented by the familiar characters from the movies with additional roles by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and others.
Each of the shows features live actors wearing bright costumes, award-winning songs from the movies, and plenty of dancing. There will also be special effects designed to please audience members of all ages. Everyone will also be encouraged to sing along, cheer for the heroes, and hiss at the evil villains.
Those who plan to attend may want to bring a high-quality camera for taking pictures of their children posing with their favorite characters. The pictures might make good subjects for this year's Holiday Cards.
The Disney show will be presented twice, both on Saturday, December 6, the first starting at 1:00 pm and the second at 4:00 pm at the Ted Constant Convocation Center, 4320 Hampton Blvd, Norfolk. Ticket prices range from $20 to $60 depending on seating.Get a Free Quote for Holiday Cards
