Ladies in Leesburg can kick off fall with the Divas Half Marathon and 5K.
The nationwide series gives women the chance to show their glamorous side while participating in one of two fun races.
The scenic, certified courses will have a boa and tiara station and non-alcoholic bubbly at the finish line. A banner printing service has likely been used to create large Signs for the start and finish lines. There will also be a post-race pool party.
Registration costs $65 for the 5K or $110 for the half marathon. Registrants will receive pink tutus, a crown-shaped finisher’s medal, a race shirt designed for women’s bodies, and chip-timing. The top three finishers overall and in each age group will claim awards.
The race will benefit the Young Foundation of Florida, Inc., an organization that hopes to support young men and women who want to pursue an education but have limited finances. The race will also fund local and national charities that help women.
Individuals can pick-up their packets at the Health and Fitness Boutique that will be held on September 25 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at the Lansdowne Resort, located on 44050 Woodridge Parkway.
The 5K will take place on September 25th at 6:15 pm at the Lansdowne Resort, and the half marathon will kick off on September 26th at 7:30 am at Tarara Winery, located on 13648 Tarara Lane. Get a Free Quote for Signs
