Next month, Banshee Reeks Nature Preserve in Leesburg will host the New Year Full Moon Hike and Campfire event for anyone interested in starting their year with an exciting outdoor adventure.
Banshee Nature Preserve is a 699-acre nature preserve located in Loudoun County, Virginia. The preserve boasts 15 miles of family-friendly hiking to explore, a catch-and-release fishing pond, and dog-friendly areas. It also hosts a variety of outdoor programs and special events, such as the New Year Full Moon Hike happening in January.
The hike will offer participants an after-hours nature adventure to celebrate the coming of the new year. The small-group hike will be led by a Virginia Master Naturalist through a moonlit woodland environment, traversing one to two miles over varied terrain. After the hike, there will be a campfire to relax around and make s’mores, weather permitting. All ages and levels are welcome to attend.
To prepare hikers for a new hike, informative pamphlets or Brochures may be handed out prior to the event. These Brochures can be printed in bulk by using local Print shops that offer brochure printing services to event organizers.
