A farmer-themed picnic will be held in Leesburg this June.
The name of the picnic is "Feast in the Field", and it Forms part of the initiative of the growers from A Farm Less Ordinary to raise funds for employment.
There will be a variety of foods for all attendees, each made from ingredients grown by the farm or by other vendors from the surrounding area. The meals will be prepared live and outdoors by professional personal caterer Chef Erik Foxx-Nettnin. He owns a local company that specializes in preparing personalized meals for large and small groups, all using locally sourced ingredients.
Now in its third year, this year’s guests will have the opportunity to tour the farm while enjoying live covers of hits from local band, the Felix Pickles. There will also be a silent auction before the feast begins.
Tickets will be $75, and this is a rain or shine event. Patrons can expect an eight-seat table and unlimited access to food for the evening. Attendees can make further contributions to the cause if they would like to. There are also sponsorship opportunities available. Further details are available on the farm's website.
Flyer printing can be great for featuring items on the auction list for events such as this.
This event will be held on June 25 at the farm, which is located at 20133 Gleedsville Road, Leesburg, Virginia. It begins at 4:30 pm.
