The Riverside High School in Loudoun County, Virginia will host a 5k and Fun Run this October.
Now in its seventh year, the event is aimed at benefiting local charities and non-profits. It will feature food, games, and exciting contests for the entire family to enjoy. People of all ages are eligible for the Fun Run, and those who sign up by October 11 will get a free race t-shirt. The Fun Run will be fully accessible by people of all abilities both pre- and post-race, meaning everyone is welcome.
Additional supportive measures have been put in place for those with disabilities, such as discounted entrance fees to members of The Arc of Loudoun.
As well as being fun and engaging for the entire family, the event also gives local businesses the chance to give back through sponsorship, with opportunities listed on the Loudoun Chamber's website. Poster printing is one way for sponsors to gain exposure among patrons at events like this.
Race T-Shirts, bibs, and medals are available for pickup from the Loudoun Chamber office from October 20 to October 22. Registration for the event ends promptly at midnight on October 22.
