All Ages Read Together (AART) will present the 13th Annual Tee Off for Children's Literacy in Leesburg to raise funds for AART’s youth reading programs.
AART is a nonprofit organization that provides free access to preschool programs for disadvantaged children. The nonprofit’s mission is to work towards a future that ensures all children have a public education system that includes universal access to preschool. AART’s programming includes a high teacher-to-student ratio, experienced educators, hands-on activities, and a safe and structured environment. 100 percent of the proceeds raised from the tournament's registration fees will go towards supporting such programming.
The tournament will start with a grab-and-go breakfast. A shotgun start will start the action where participants will play the usual 18 holes of golf at the beautifully manicured grounds of the Raspberry Falls Golf & Hunt Club. Players and their team will be provided with a cart to help them from hole to hole. After the competition, there will be a barbecue awards luncheon complete with an open bar.
The golf courses at tournaments like this are sometimes decorated with large Banners detailing the event, and organizers of said events can get these printed at local Print shops specializing in banner printing services.
The golf tournament will take place on September 10 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. Raspberry Falls is located at 41601 Raspberry Drive. All-inclusive green fees are $160.
