The Leesburg Festival of Crafts & Kites will take place this August to celebrate a day of kite flying, crafting, and fellowship.
This family-friendly event will be held in Ida Lee Park where families can enjoy a peaceful day of watching vibrant kites create impressive displays in the air, flying their own unique kite, or participating in the other summer festivities to be featured. While revolving predominantly around kite flying, organizers have made sure that there will be plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
There will be crafts and artisan booths set up with local vendors selling everything from artwork and jewelry to home decor. Children can enjoy coloring their favorite kite designs in the Coloring Tent, or they may prefer playing in the many moon bounces.
There will also be carnival-style games for families, and food and beverage vendors on hand to satisfy hungry mouths. Life entertainment filled with energetic performers will keep the mood high.
