For all chocoholics and those who just want to support a good cause, the YMCA of Loudoun County will soon be hosting its annual Chocolates Galore & More gala.
The event will have food and chocolate prepared by area restaurants, chefs, bakers, and caterers.
The activity will include a tasting of local bakers and chefs’ hors d’oeuvres and desert specialties. WINC FM’s Lisa Herndon Broyhill will be the Mistress of Ceremonies for the occasion, and the Katz Band will be offering the evening’s entertainment.
Along with the food, beverages, and music, there will be dancing and a silent auction. Proceeds will go to the YMCA’s Caring for Community Scholarship program, which will enable the YMCA to help local families in need. This will be the 29th year for the event.
Close to 800 guests are expected, so this event promises to be an excellent opportunity to do a little networking. Everyone will want to get their business card printing done, and those with digital Business Cards will want to be sure they are updated in good time.
Those interested will want to clear a space in their schedule tomorrow, February 19. The event will start at 7:00 pm and go until 11:00 pm at the Lansdowne Resort, 44050 Woodbridge Parkway, Leesburg. Everyone will be expected to wear cocktail attire. Tickets start at $50.
