The Conche will hold the Art of Chocolate Making Class next month in Leesburg for anyone interested in learning the craft of artisan chocolate making.
The Conche is the sister location of The Conche Chocolate & Cake Studio, which is a local chocolate studio and sweet shop that offers classes related to the making of cakes, chocolate, and other sweet treats. The Conche itself is a chocolate-themed restaurant under the master guidance of Chef Santosh Tiptur. The restaurant offers artisan handmade chocolates, chocolate-infused entrees, and chocolate-focused cocktails.
Taking a page from the studio, the restaurant will host a special chocolate lab led by Santosh Tiptur. Attendees of the class will learn about the history and origin of chocolate and how to differentiate between good and bad variants of the confectionery. There will also be tastings, as well as an opportunity to learn how to make chocolate truffles and bonbons. Attendees will need to wear appropriate attire, meaning closed-toed shoes, hair tied back, and no loose jewelry.
Crafting workshops like this will often utilize informative Posters to guide participants through the class. Organizers can Print these posters at local print shops offering poster printing services.
The chocolate class is scheduled for Saturday, April 6 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Conche is located at 1605 Village Market Boulevard, Southeast Leesburg. General admission is $80.
