There will be a Boston Tea Party event taking place in Leesburg this December. The installment will celebrate 250 years since the protest happened.
The program’s agenda will include Rich Gillespie’s presentation of a feature called "The Tea Party Beyond Boston,” followed by Tracy Gillespie's insights into the five teas tossed overboard during that historic event. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste alongside colonial-age lite fare courtesy of Calling Card Events.
The special event wraps up with a raffle where participants stand a chance of winning tea-themed prizes such as baskets and literature.
All profits will go toward supporting the Loudoun Museum. This contribution will aid in developing new exhibitions, fostering collaborations with local non-profits and companies, hosting guest speakers, facilitating educational programs, and organizing community programs. This event is a collaboration with the Loudoun Virginia 250 Committee.
The cost to attend is $38, and raffle ticket batches are available for purchase at $5 and $10. Tickets can be bought through the Loudon Museum event listing page, where attendees can also offer donations.
