Leesburg keeps winter blues at bay with crafts

Individuals are invited to join a crafting getaway this winter season, but must register in the next few days.

While the January weather might be chilly, the Winter Craft Retreat promises warmth and creativity. Individuals can look forward to having a dedicated crafting space for a few days as they immerse themselves in their projects.

At the retreat, attendees will have a six-foot table and access to various crafting tools like dies, Stamps, and punches, plus the chance to indulge in various take-home projects.

Accommodation is not part of the package, but the organizers have arranged a special rate at the Best Western for attendees. Attendees can contact the hotel via phone to request special pricing for the event.

The cost to attend the event itself will be $205, and the three-day retreat will include meals, a snack bar, table gifts, and engaging activities like Bingo and Prize Patrol on Saturday night. Registration will end this Saturday, December 23, and a deposit of $50 secures individual spots. Should they need to cancel, attendees are advised that they will only receive $25 back from their deposit.

Print shops can be a great way for organizers to print materials for crafters at events such as this one.

The event will be taking place at the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center, 726 E Market St., Leesburg from Thursday, January 25 to Sunday, January 28.
