Leesburg herbal seminar to benefit mothers
This February, Leesburg will host the Wholly Nurtured: A Gathering for New and Expecting Mothers, a herbal seminar designed for both new and expecting mothers.
The seminar will be hosted by Potomac River Kids, a whimsical children’s boutique that sells all manner of unique clothing, toys, and books for babies and young children. The shop also frequently hosts meetups and special events for parents, such as the seminar happening in February.
Wholly Nurtured will be a special seminar on maternity and postpartum care led by Cree of Yarrow Remedy, a local herbalist that draws from nature to create healing remedies. Cree will share her knowledge of using certain herbs and self-care techniques to support maternal health in both the pregnancy and postpartum period of a women’s childbearing journey. There will also be plenty of shopping opportunities from Cree’s personal shop, plus retail deals and freebies from Potomac River Kids.
Local businesses hosting events like this may use the draw of freebies and giveaways of promotional products to build new customer relationships with those that attend the event.
