In Leesburg next month, Williams Sonoma will host the silhouette artist Edward Casey, who will be offering silhouette portraits of people and their families.
An internationally renowned silhouette artist, Casey had formally worked for the Walt Disney Company as their top selling artist. Using fine quality silhouette paper, scissors, and a keen eye, Casey creates portrait works of art that many consider to be the best in the industry. He can capture an individual’s likeness by utilizing his almost 50 years of experience in portraits.
At the event, Casey will be offering portraits that are cut freehand in mere minutes using no photographic devices or mechanical equipment. The portraits may make a novel gift for someone, and framing will be offered for those who desire it.
There is no age limit to participate. There will be a $10 sitting fee, however, for those who cancel within seven days prior to the event.

The silhouette portrait event is scheduled for Saturday, May 11 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Williams Sonoma is located at 241 Fort Evans Road Northeast, Suite 1001. The first silhouette is $35, and additional Copies of the same subject are $15 each.
