A child-centered training session is to be held in Leesburg this February.
The event is the Loudoun Children’s Chorus Workshop. It offers young singers an area where they may practice their vocal skills. The aim of the event is to aid participants in an expansion of experience with using their abilities. It will focus on having attendees practice choral singing, while socializing with others that share the same interests. It will serve as a social platform, as well as an engaging learning experience.
Children may also look forward to detailed talks and lessons from choir directors. There will be a final performance from all participants after the educational aspect of the sessions have ended. This will be open to the parents, friends and the neighbors of those in attendance. The workshop welcomes children between the ages of 6 and 12 years, with varying experience levels. This allows for greater room for improvement as the session begins first with learning basic vocal techniques, and team-building activities to better transition into singing with a group.
The event is free to attend, however it requires registration in advance. This process can be completed by visiting the event’s website.

The workshop takes place on February 25 at the Loudoun County High School. This is located at 415 Dry Mill Road, Leesburg, Virginia. It begins at 9:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm.
