Herndon families on the lookout for fun activities can enjoy three days of fall fun when a local farm opens its doors to the public.
Frying Pan Farm Park has announced the 2025 Farm Harvest Fest and Carnival, set to occur from October 17 to 19, with kid-friendly activities and attractions each day. Some of the planned attractions include farm animals, rides, games, and farm demonstrations. Banner printing and other graphic design products can be used for festival signage.
The weekend kicks off on the 17th with Big Truck Night. Especially for young tykes fascinated with big machines, children can view fire engines, tractors, and similar metal monsters from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
The Carnival will occur throughout the weekend. Attendees can enjoy games, rides, and even yummy carnival food.
Farm Harvest Days, which will also span the entire weekend, will include several farm animals, as well as demonstrations of animal husbandry. Visitors can watch a working apple cider press, and workers will even lead them in playing some old-fashioned games.
