Herndon residents will soon have new choices for nights out, as a renowned craft brewery has begun construction in town.
Voodoo Brewing Company, a Pennsylvania-based craft brewery, is expanding into northern Virginia and chose Herndon for its first facility. The new business is located on the ground floor of the Makers Rise at Dulles Station development. The complex is an apartment, office center, and retail shop complex off Dulles Toll Road.
The company has leased 3,750 square feet of floor space in a high-traffic area, across the street from Kabobi By The Helmand (an Afghan restaurant) and Alo Vietnam Restaurant and Bar. Renovation is underway, and although company officials haven’t declared an opening date, they are indicating an early 2026 timeframe. Banner printing and similar products from Print shops are useful when announcing grand openings.
Voodoo Brewing Company was founded in 2005 in Meadville, PA. They opened their first taproom in 2012 and, since that time, have experienced remarkable growth. After opening two more taprooms over the next four years, the company realized a need to expand its production and moved into an expansive new production facility in 2017. It now boasts over 24 taprooms in 11 states. Voodoo offers a large selection of beers, including flagship favorites, limited-time beers, and seasonal beers. They also offer cocktails and a light food menu.
