Unique shopping comes to the Convention Center

In December, the Convention Center will the place to visit for all who are seeking one-off customized, or personal items that cannot be found on shelves anywhere else.

The Peddler Show, which began in 1977 and produces 26 different shows each year, is coming to Harris County. The event is one that provides a marketplace for artistic and especially skilled vendors to display and sell their original, professional goods and items. The artisans are juried to ensure the best quality of works for the show, considering criteria like quality, originality, design, and imagination.

For the weekend, shoppers will have the opportunity to select from sundry unique items made by jewelers, crafters, boutiques, designers, and vendors from all across the nation. Though each show is different, items for sale usually include handbags and Totes, shoes, accessories, pottery, furniture, floral arrangements, personalized home décor, soaps, and candles. Vendors might benefit from business card printing that will express their unique skills and crafts. There will also be gourmet foods and treats available for purchase.

Tickets to the event can be purchased for $7, and kids under the age of 12 get in free. Parking is free too, and the ticket is good for the whole weekend.

The event takes place December 9 to 11 at the Pasadena Convention Center, 12 miles northeast of Pearland.
