Motown performers to play at Pearland concert

The CC Rider Band will participate in a music series at Independence Park in Pearland this June.

Those who are fans of the Motown genre can attend a live show headlined by the CC Rider Band. The group is a Houston-based oldies dance band that plays Motown hits from the '60s and '70s. Created in 1990 and led by Larry Johnson, the group uses several instruments in its performances, including the saxophone, trombone, and guitar. The band plays at venues such as the Kemah Boardwalk-Main Stage and Big John's Ice House.

There will also be food vendors at the live show for those who want refreshments. The participating businesses will include Faithful Flavors and The Tamale Shack. Faithful Flavors is a family-owned company that sells beverages like dirty sodas and lemonades. The Tamale Shack is a business that offers items like tamales, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos. People can choose different proteins for their orders, including crawfish, chicken, and beef.

The live show by the CC Rider Band will be held on Friday, June 19 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The event is part of Pearland's Concerts in the Park series and will be free for people to attend. Registration is not needed to see the show. Cities with concerts like this can use banner printing services to promote their musical events to more families.
