Pearland bar to organize St. Patricks Day event

Rob Ray’s Taproom in Pearland will hold a St. Patrick’s Day celebration in March with several live performances.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at the Taproom is an event where people can come together and enjoy the holiday at a themed venue. The bar will serve Irish Stew for dinner and will have speciality drinks available to purchase, including jello shots and green beer.

One of the activities during the event will be a craft project. Guests will get to create their own pot o’ gold bath bombs with help from Girl on Arts, an artist based in Pearland who has organized many kinds of crafting events. She went to school at the University of Houston-Clear Lake and holds projects at venues like Soulfreak.

The music entertainment for the St. Patrick’s Day experience will be provided by Pettijohn and Andrew Stone. Pettijohn is a bagpipes player, and Stone is a composer and guitarist who will perform covers of Irish rock songs. Stone has also released multiple singles, such as Always On My Mind, Tigers, and Captured.

The party will take place on March 17th and will open to the public at 5:00 pm. The crafts workshop will be held at 6:00 pm, and the bagpipes performance is at 6:30 pm. Stone will start playing at 7:00 pm. Bars that host seasonal activities like this may use flyer printing to create themed marketing materials for their parties.
