Pearland kicks off the holidays with annual festival
Pearland will start the holiday season with its annual Hometown Christmas Festival.
The event will feature a mix of seasonal entertainment, including vendor booths, live stage performances from local artists, holiday music, inflatables, food trucks, interactive family experiences, and holiday décor.
The event is free and open to the public, with organizers suggesting it as a community-friendly way to start the December celebrations. Attendees can expect to enjoy different treats, browse for handcrafted holiday gifts, and soak in the festive ambiance of the lighting ceremony.
While parking will be available at Pearland High School, onsite parking for sponsors and vendors is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Therefore, the city urges guests and vendors to arrive early for the event. To boost awareness at such events, the city can leverage poster printing around hotspots detailing vendor maps and performance schedules.
Additionally, Pearland will host its traditional Holiday Christmas Parade the following evening, running along Broadway all the way from Old Alvin Road to Pearland Parkway. The organizers are encouraging guests to come with parade entries such as floats to reflect the classic Christmas story theme.
