Pearland service club to organize car show

The Exchange Club of Pearland will hold a community car show and marketplace in May.

The Car and Craft Festival & Market is an event where people can connect with other car enthusiasts while browsing stalls from local businesses. Those who enter the car show will compete for several awards, such as Best in Truck, Best in Jeep, and Best in Paint. There will also be an award for the vehicle voted best by children. Businesses that want to take part in the marketplace can pay $40 for a booth on the grass or $60 for a booth on a concrete surface.

The Exchange Club of Pearland is a community organization that was created in 1989. The group combined with the Hobby Exchange Club in 2023. The club is part of the Texas Louisiana Gulf Coast District, which is an association founded in 1985 that helps groups combine their volunteer and financial resources. The organization has hosted many events, including the HPD Air Support BBQ Dinner and the Mother's Day Car Show Extravaganza.

The car show and community marketplace will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Those who want to showcase their vehicles at the event may pay $20. There is no cost for people to view the show or browse the market. Community organizations that host similar activities may use flyer printing services to create distributable ads for their events.
